22 Mar How You Could Change Your Parent’s Life For The Better
Not every family is the perfect family, right. Some families are broken, there is constant arguing, the home isn’t the healthiest environment, parents are not as model for their children as they can be. Some children are greatly affected by this, others face this adversity and overcome it with their own determination.
A child or youth (anyone 17 or younger) is capable of being the reason their parent changes their own lives for the better. This is when the traditional roles of the child and the parent are reversed. A child can sit down with their parent and express their disappointment and concern. They can get friends and family members, and professional family therapists and counselors to get involved. They can even reach out to the police, taking more extreme action.
At some point, hopefully, the parent will realize that they are not the person they want to be – they can be better – for themselves and their family. They don’t want to lose their loved ones and they certainly don’t want the police to have a reason to intervene and arrest them.
